BHUTAN NEWLY WEDS ROYALS COUPLE HONEYMOON TRIP IN RAJASTHAN
Bhutan’s newlywed King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema, who married in 13th, October, 2011. The Royals couple is Honeymoon in Rajasthan, literally called ‘Land of Kingdoms’. The couple ride by train to Rajasthan, a desert state to the west of the Indian capital famous for its former royal palaces.
The Indian Railway has arranged a special train similar to Palace on Wheels. They provided small train with saloon-a luxury coach with bedroom, dinning space and pantry. Sources said that, the special salon- a customized luxurious coach - will have a furnished drawing and dining room along with a bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The coach is designed to give a better exterior view. Special salons are largely used by railway minister, chairman of railway board and general managers of zonal railways.
There is a separate room for the King’s close aide. The train for royal couple 8th to 10th coaches. Besides, they provided few air-conditioned bogies to accommodate Indian security personnel and the staff accompanying the royal couple. The special train which will take them to forts and palaces and its tiger sanctuaries. The Royals couple plan to visit Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur where they are expected to be guests of Royal families.
Infact, Bhutan’s has no train network and India is helping the country build some rail links.
Apparently, Wangchuck fell in love with Rajasthan when he visited Ranthambore last October. Looks like the wildlife reserve made such an impression on him that he wants to share the experience with his queen. Source says that, couple will stay in India till 31st, October, 2011.
