Mizoram- New Tourists Destination of Sloppy Hill Range.
Aizawl: - It is a capital city of Mizoram. The city is altitude is about 4000 feet above in the sea level. It has tiny population is about three lakhs or more. On the east side it has surrounded by deep green valley of river which is called Tuirial and west side is surrounded by lush green valley along with the river Tlawng on the north side beautiful hills of Durtlang. Vantwang Water Falls:-It is about 137 km from Aizawl, and located in the town of Thenzawl. The fall is 750 ft high which has been surrounded by green tropical forest filled with bamboo groves.
Champhai: - It is about 192 km aways from from Aizawal. This is the sub-divisional headquarter on Indo- Myanmar border. The weather is cool and one can enjoy the scenic beauty of Myanmar hill areas. Kanhmun: - This is a Tripura border town of Mizoram. From Kanhmun, one can see the Jampui Hills in the North Tripura. In the night, the scenic beauty is very excellent especially the Vanhmun Village in Jampui Hills. Kanhmun is a sub-divisional headquarters of Tripura border. How to reach in Aizawl: -
By road: From Vanghmun in Jampui Hill, Tripura, one can go to Aizawl by private car like, Tata Sumo, Savari etc. It will start in the morning at 6am and reach in Aizawl in around 7pm in the evening. From Silchar, one can go to Aizawl. The bus/ taxis are available from Silchar, and from Silchar to Aizawl along National Highway 54 take 5-6 hours. From Guwahati to Aizawl via Shillong, one can takes day and night service Private and Government buses.
By Air: - Lengpui, Aizawl is connected by Alliance Airline service from Calcutta. One can to contact Indian Airlines Offices regarding the flight scheduled, time, how many days in a week, fares etc.
For foreign tourists, for group or more, Restricted Area Permit is required to be obtained from Dy Resident Commissioner, from Mizoram House in Kolkata or either from Resident Commissioner in Mizoram House, New Delhi. Permit can be obtained from Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and New Delhi.
For do domestics Tourists, one has to be required to obtained Inner Line Permit from any of the Liaison Officers posted in Mizoram Houses in varies places, such as New Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Shillong, and Silchar.
The Climate Conditioned of Mizoram: - Mizoram has a very pleasant climate. In the winter it has 11 to 21 degree centigrade in summer the weather is average 20 to 30 degree centigrade. The rains start from April to September. So weather is comparatively suitable for the tourists. Excellent landscape, tropical forest, high hill area, hill side slopping road, scenic beauty are all attract the tourists.
