Aizuto Village:-Another village called “Aizuto’is a beautiful,a peaceful environment and a Christian Mission Centre.The Government of Nagaland opened the “Tourist Destination Centre” to promote the village as wellness centre,apart from the showcasing the tribal culture of the region.It’s located in the grounds of the Aizuto Mission Centre, near the Anderson Theological College and there are the five cottages and a heritage building.Each cottage has two twin bedded suites while the heritage building has four rooms, with two VIP rooms.Every room either twin or VIP or the heritage building are neat and clean and from the rooms one can enjoy natural beauty of this model village and to enjoy interior of the rooms.Every Tourist Village has beautiful garden,one can enjoy scenic views of surrounding of Nagaland and takes beautiful snapes.The Benreu is the third highest peak of Nagaland.
Festival of Villages:-There are several festivals in the Nagaland,the Hornbill Festival is biggest and tradional festival of Nagaland.Last year the festival held in the Kisama Tourist Centre.It has 12 km away of the capital of Nagaland,Kohima.The Hornbill Festival,meant an ingathering of all the tribes from December 1 each year,for a week of tradional revelry,food and sport and it is a display of cultural customs and an affirmation of unity.The Naga youth are quite losing of their tradional values and heritage.So from the festival they knows their values and heritage,and to teach the younger generation about their rich tribal roots.The Hornbill Festival is a permanent site at the heritage village of Kisama.It is turned in to the premier cultural festival of the North-East,and it the brightful festival of the North-East and the festival attracts the tourists all over the world.
World War 11 Museum:-It inaugurated at Naga Heritage Village Miasma in December 2009.It is become a landmark on the tourist map.The museum commemorates the battle of Kohima.which was the turning point of Japanese conflict and it is a war museum.
Diezephe Craft Village:-It is located 13 km away from Dimapur.In this craft village has a expert weavers and craftsman who are specialize in woodcarving,bamboo and caneware.the village has become famed for its special souvenirs, under the guidance of the Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited.
It may here to be mentioned that,an alternative accommodation are being offered in some of the Kohima older houses as a quaint. All these development makes Nagaland one of the fastest growing states in the North-East and tourism sectors are booming.
