Normandy-It is a Beautiful Architectural Historical Place of Northern France.

Normandy in French word “Normandie” has situated along the English Channel coast of northern France between Brittany and Picardy. It consists of 360 miles long coastline in northern France and Channel Island. Normandy has derived from the settlement by “Northman” in the 9th century. During battle of Normandy in 2nd World War, it is becoming the landing beaches site for the invasion and the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany. This recognized as the start for the war in Western Europe. It is very importance for the cider production region like calvados which has distilled cider or apple brandy.

It is also importance for dairy production, cheeses, flax, horse breeding, green farmland, fishing, seafood, tourism, Monet’s garden etc. There are also historical cities like Rouen and Bayeux. One can not refuse to see while visiting to Normandy which include Nortre Dame Cathedral in Rouen, 16th century Chateau of St.Germain-de-Livet, world reputed town of Mont-St- Michel etc.

War Memorial:-It is a vast history regarding the war. Caeu is very significance of the war memorial. Giverny:-It is an excellent traditional village which located on the bank of the Sheine and is home for the French famous painter Claude Monet. Giverny is also a pilgrimages centre for the art lovers and travellers can enjoy to seeing Claude Monet spacious houses.

Rouen:-It is one of the third largest port cities in France. It is a Benedictine Palace and Museum, and is house for the Benedicture liqueur. One can not forget to visit central sides of the village known as Etretate.

Saint Michel:-The Mont-St-Michel is about 264 feet high rocking islet. It is an excellent sightseeing for the visitors in France and around the world and surrounded by half miles massive walls and reached there by climb up streets.

American Art Museum:-It is an American Art Museum in which they worked in Giverny when the American Artist came to the France at the end of the 19th century to study and work on painting.

Deauville / Trouville:-It is known as best luxurious resort town in Normandy. There are many classical hotel and resorts, casinos, race tracks, golf courses and polo grounds. So it has recognized as leisure place for the business travellers. It has a twin city known as Trouville, is separated from the Deauville by the river Touques and another town known as Hon fleur, is a charming and beautiful harbour village with narrow timbered houses. Famous artist like Monet and Baud-Laire are spent time in the 11th century town.

Haras du Pin:-It is a tourists place for horse show and competition. Tourists are welcome by local peoples to attend horse show and competition and another horse breeding estate known as Versailles of horses. One can not forget to visit the Alencon’s Fine Arts and Lace Museum which is presents varies collection of French and European Lace from the 17th to 20th century.

Landing Beaches:-It is a military landing beaches which built in 1944.There are several museums, bunkers, magnificent Cathedral of Nortre Dame and cemeteries to the battle of Normandy. It is a camp base from which to tour the beaches and situated in a small town known as Bayeaux.
