Ranch is the capital city of Jharkhand which is surrounded by the waterfalls and other attractions.It is situated at the height of 2,392 ft,and a hill station for the British for many years.It has a cantonment area and many natural parks which is main attraction for the traveler’s and it is18 percent mineral production from the Ranchi district.

Hundru Falls:-The Hundru falls is about 45km from Ranchi,where the water from the Suvarnarekha river falls from height of 320 ft,the sight of the water fronting down the boulders is something which you are not likely to forget hurry.The Hundru Falls is remains picnicker’s paradise.The best time to go rainy season but there bathing in the water can be dangerous.So it is advise to visitors be careful when the bathing the Hundru Falls.
Tagore Hill:-It is 3 km away from central Ranchi.It is located in Morabadi.Tagore Hill is a favourite picnic spot for locals as well as tourist also.There is small house on the top of the hill built by Jyotirindranath Tagore,elder brother of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore and made of canopy stone,which is usually crowded on weekends.The Ramkrishns Mission Ashram,is located few steps away from the base of the hill,is famous for its vocational college.
Deer Park:-The Birsa Deer Park is located 20 km from Ranchi near Hatia on the Ranch khoontir road which is mains attractions for the tourists.
Dassam Falls:-The Dassam Falls is located near the Taimara village which is 40 km away
From Ranchi on the Jamshedpur road which is attract by the tourists.There is also Jhonha Falls which is approximately 40 km away from Ranch and easy to go by train and road.The Jonha Falls scenic beauty is wonderful to the travelers,one can walk to the buttom of the Jhonha Falls.There are also another beautiful falls named is Hirni Falls.It is about 70 km on the Chakradharpur route.It is located amidst dense forest,and it is a good picnic spot also.
How to reach in Ranchi:-Ranchi is well connected with major cities,besides there are daily daily flight from Delhi,Kolkata and Mumbai.It is situated on National Highway23 and 33 and connected by regular bus service with all major towns within the state.There are overnight buses from Patna to Kolkata.
The accommodation is generally operated by the State Tourism Development Corporation or the Forest Department.Besides that, there are also good private accommodation available like hotels, tourists lodges etc.
